Meet the Fort Worth Team Behind Keegan Restoration Fort Worth

Water doesn’t wait for business hours, and neither do we. The Fort Worth crew at Keegan Restoration is a small group of people who’ve spent their careers learning how buildings fail and how to put them back together. Some of us came up through the trades, others through construction management, but we share the same habit: we write things down, we show up when we say we will, and we don’t leave until the job meets The Garrison Standard. When a pipe lets go in Wedgwood or a storm pounds Saginaw, these are the people who answer the phone and show up in a marked truck.

Our People

Marcus T. – Lead Water Mitigation Technician

Marcus has spent 14 years in water damage restoration, and he’s pulled water out of just about every kind of structure Fort Worth can throw at him, from 1920s pier-and-beam bungalows in Fairmount to slab-on-grade builds in Alliance. He holds IICRC certifications in water damage restoration and applied structural drying, and he runs the Dri-Eaz and Phoenix equipment on most of our water jobs. Marcus is the guy who can walk into a flooded hallway, read the psychrometrics, and tell you within minutes which walls are coming out and which ones will dry. On weekends he restores vintage motorcycles, which he claims teaches patience, though nobody on the crew has seen much evidence of that. He lives in the Northside with his wife and two rescue dogs.

Dana R. – Senior Fire Restoration Specialist

Dana joined Keegan Restoration after eight years in residential construction, and she’s the person we put on fire jobs where the damage goes deeper than the smoke smell. Her specialty is cleaning and sealing structural materials that most companies would tear out and replace, which saves homeowners weeks and thousands of dollars. She’s IICRC-certified in fire and smoke restoration and is our in-house expert on desiccant drying, the low-humidity process used for smoke-damaged electronics and documents. Dana keeps a notebook in her truck with a running list of barbecue joints to try across Tarrant County, and she grade judges at high school science fairs in Keller every spring. Ask her about conductivity meters and you’ll get a ten-minute answer backed by field notes.

Elena V. – Service Coordinator

Elena is the voice on the phone at 3 a.m. when a water heater floods a guest bathroom in Benbrook. She’s been with the team for six years and handles scheduling, insurance paperwork, and the constant puzzle of routing crews across North Fort Worth traffic. Before joining Keegan, she worked in property management, so she’s fluent in both tenant emergencies and landlord expectations. Her rule is simple: the homeowner gets a written scope of loss before the crew starts pulling baseboards, and the adjuster gets photo documentation formatted the way they need it. Elena can tell you which neighborhoods flood first after heavy rain and which streets to avoid during Stock Show traffic. On slow days, she studies meteorology maps for fun, which the rest of the crew finds both charming and slightly unsettling.

Travis J. – Restoration Technician

Travis is the newest member of the crew, two years in, and he’s been through the full apprenticeship path under Marcus. He handles water extraction, demolition, and content moving on water and fire jobs, and he’s crossed-trained on the XPOWER and B-Air air movers and the Injectidry wall cavity drying system. Travis is the one under the house in the crawl space, the one hauling wet carpet to the truck, the one who double-checks that floors are protected before equipment gets wheeled through a living room. He grew up near Paschal High School and played football at Arlington Heights, and he’s the reason every job site gets swept before we leave. He says the worst smell he’s ever encountered was a refrigerator unplugged for three weeks after a summer storm outage, and nobody on the team disputes that.

The five of us work under the same set of rules no matter how big or small the job is.
